Bradford White’s Industry Forward® charitable giving program will donate $10,000 to WiPP to further its mission. In addition, the Bradford White Women’s Network is contributing two $3,500 scholarships as part of the Women in Plumbing and Piping Scholarship Program. These scholarships are intended to encourage and support women pursuing careers in these essential fields.

“Bradford White is committed to supporting skilled trade industries and educating the public about the value of careers in these sectors,” said Rebecca Owens, Senior Communications Manager for Bradford White. “Our partnership with WiPP will support their programs and the opportunities they offer to women in the industry. Through networking, education and mentoring, we aim to foster shared experiences and build the next generation of talent, providing essential services that keep us comfortable, healthy and safe.”

The Women in Plumbing and Piping Scholarship Program is open to active WiPP members who are enrolled or plan to enroll in accredited trade or professional schools. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to a career in the plumbing and piping industry.

“We are grateful for this partnership and the generous donation,” said Kim Gill, WiPP’s executive director. “Bradford White has shown a deep commitment to the hardworking people who underpin our industries. Their mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to promote diversity, provide educational opportunities and promote professional growth in the plumbing and piping fields.”

Each scholarship can be applied toward tuition, educational fees, textbooks, or classroom supplies at vocational or professional schools. Applicants must submit an essay by July 15 on “Why I Choose a Career in the Trades.” Essays will be judged on clarity, grammar, passion for the trade, insight into the industry and commitment to a long-term career.

This partnership between Bradford White and WiPP highlights a shared dedication to advancing the roles of women in skilled trades, ensuring a diverse and well-prepared workforce for the future.
