With its regular use as a football stadium, Liverpool FC must adhere to specific rules for Anfield to host major events such as Taylor Swift and P!nk later this month. This is done by working with Liverpool Council to obtain the relevant licences.

In order to host sold out performances by the Bad Blood singer, as well as other past and future shows, the club has obtained an entertainment and alcohol license from the local authority. This dictates how and when gigs can progress.

Doors to the show – which will be supported by US rock band Paramore – open to the general public at 4pm, with all ticket holders assigned a specific entry point. The show is expected to last three and a half hours.
