Closures and diversions at Sheffield Parkway as the road is closed overnight for three weeks

Over the next three weeks, a major road in Sheffield will be closed overnight to allow “essential works” to be carried out.

A series of overnight diversions will be in place on a section of Sheffield Parkway between Sunday June 9 and Friday June 28 while the bridges at the Handsworth Road junction are repaired.

The planned work will be carried out at night to minimize disruption to drivers – however Sheffield Council has warned that some disruption and heavy rush hour traffic is expected.
