Mystery when the man logged off the computer 13 months ago and hasn’t been seen since

A man has not been seen for almost 13 months and police have launched a new appeal to find him. James Beer, 30, has not been seen since he logged off his computer at 4.30am on May 18 last year.

And now his desperate family are appealing for him to return to his home in Swansea, Wales. Police told him in a direct call: “Your family misses you and wants you to come home.”




Officers have released a description of him in the hope that someone with information will come forward. Detective Sergeant David Connick, of South Wales Police, asked people to “turn their minds” to the James moment and come forward if they have information, WalesOnline reports.

DS Connick said: “On May 19 last year James Beer, 30, was reported missing by family members and a year after his disappearance we have had no confirmed sightings of James and its whereabouts are unknown. computer at approximately 4:30 am on May 18, 2023.

“However, we have had no positive sightings of James since May 17 last year. James is described as slim, 5ft 8in tall and at the time of his disappearance was sporting a goatee-style beard. We think he was in possession. of a blue backpack.
