Motorcyclist seriously injured in motorhome accident

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision involving a motorbike and a motorhome in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the force attended the incident at around 12.20pm BST on Sunday near Camborne at Tram Road, Cambrose, Porthtowan.

The rider of the motorcycle, a local man in his 70s, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, police said.

It was the second crash near the A30 in Cornwall on Sunday. The other incident involved another motorcyclist who was taken to hospital after a collision involving a tractor.

Police thanked the public for their patience while the road was closed while investigations were carried out.
