Manchester United decide on Erik ten Hag as Thomas Tuchel is no longer in the running

According to Sky Sports News Chief Reporter Kaveh Solhekol, the Manchester United boss has returned from holiday but is still undecided about his fate regarding the job of managing business at Manchester United. However, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly not considering the United job if Manchester United decide to sack Erik ten Hag.

Erik ten Hag won back-to-back trophies in his first two seasons at United, but a European and Championship campaign overshadowed that performance. The Manchester United manager still has a year left on his contract, but the lengthy review has become potentially worrying.

“When I started here I said I’m here to win and I also want to make a team. I’m doing both. But if they don’t want me anymore I’ll go and win games and trophies somewhere else.”
