Two people were injured when their Ford Fiesta crashed into a tree in Coventry

Two people were injured after a Ford Fiesta crashed into a tree in Coventry. It happened near the Coombe Abbey Hotel in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, June 11).

Paramedics were called to the junction of the B4027 and Coombe Fields Road at around 1.10am. Firefighters from Rugby Fire Station also attended.




Crews found two people with minor injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service said. Both were taken to Coventry University Hospital in Walsgrave.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a tree near the junction of the B4027 and Coombe Fields Road on Tuesday (June 11).

“Two ambulances came to the scene at 1.08am. We discovered two patients who were both treated for injuries not thought to be serious before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

A Warwickshire Police spokesman added: “Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage can call 101 quoting incident 17 of June 11.”
