Taylor Swift fans convinced by huge announcement at Taylor Swift’s 100th anniversary show in Liverpool

Taylor Swift fans are convinced a huge announcement will be made at a milestone Eras tour performance this week. The pop star will perform the 100th show of the sold-out tour in Liverpool on June 13 – and Swifties are getting suspicious that something big is about to happen.

Taylor Nation, a social media account linked to but not run by Taylor herself, began dropping hints about the centennial show. They wrote on X: “#EdinburghTSTheShow these last 3 daylight shows have left us feeling crazier. Sneaking in on #TSTheErasTour’s 100th show in #LiverpoolTSTheErasTour!”

The mention of the 100th show has piqued fans’ interest, along with the fact that it lands on June 13 – an auspicious day in Taylor’s world. Taylor’s lucky number is 13, having been born on December 13, and she likes to reference the number in her hints for fans.

But now Swifties have started ‘clowning’ about what could happen on the first night Taylor plays in Liverpool. Some fans are hoping to announce that “Taylor’s Version” of the megastar’s eighth album, Reputation, will be released.

It is one of two albums that Taylor did not re-release under her own name, having decided to reclaim her music after the original masters were sold to her. But other fans have other ideas for the announcement.

Some say it could be to announce another video from The Tortured Poets Department. Taking to X, one person said, “someone said it’s going to be an mv for ttpd,” leading to speculation as to what song might be featured.

Fans are hoping for “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me” or “I Could Do It With A Broken Heart” as new music videos, and both now appear in TTPD’s new set during the European leg of the Eras tour. But a third theory is that it will announce a video for “Florida!!!” which features Florence Welch – and that the British singer will appear on stage in Liverpool for a live performance on June 13 as well.
