Amazon’s ‘stylish’ £15 lamp that ‘looks more expensive than it is’

Amazon shoppers love a new lamp that “looks more expensive than it is.” The retailer’s touch-controlled table lamp has proven to be a hit with shoppers looking for an inexpensive way to add a modern touch to their home.

The lamp is currently on sale for £14.44, down from £19.99, and offers three brightness options – low, medium and high. All you have to do is simply touch the metal base of the lamp to adjust the brightness to 30%, 70% or 100%.

The bedside lamp comes with a free adjustable E14 4W 3000K bulb, which emits a warm relaxed glow to create a comfortable ambience. The lamp has a simple design with an open shade, combined with a rust-resistant polished silver base, made with dimensions of 4.7″ (L) x 10.8″ (H), which does not take up much space.

The lamp has an overall rating of 4.6 stars out of five, with hundreds of positive reviews. Among them, one person said: “It looks great. It looks more expensive than it is and just works great with the touch sensitive controls. Is not bad at all”.

A second wrote: “I’m very happy I bought this lamp. It has a very compact and elegant appearance. As a bonus, I am pleased that it also came with a free bulb. It works great. I will be buying more of these lamps very soon.”

However, some buyers claimed that the lamp “stopped working”. One person said: “This was working fine, then all of a sudden it wouldn’t let me tap to stop.”
