Live: The Barton home has been evacuated as firefighters are called to the scene

Residents have been evacuated from their homes in Bristol this evening (Thursday June 13) as fire crews rush to the scene. Several fire engines were seen at Barton House in Barton Hill following reports that a building had been evacuated.

Residents are believed to have been evacuated from their homes at around 6pm this evening. At the moment it is not known why or when they will be able to return to the building.




An eyewitness told BristolLive that several fire engines and police were at the scene. They said, “4 engines and police in total.”

Emergency services have been contacted for more information.

The Barton house has been evacuated after fire alarms go off… the fire brigade are in attendance and it appears a fault with the new alarm panel has caused it. Four engines and police in all
