Lutterworth: The school goes into lockdown after a boy assaults a member of staff

Leicestershire Police said the boy was helping them with their inquiries and the investigation is ongoing.

Headteacher Julian Kirby said in a statement: “There has been an incident at Lutterworth High School which has required a lockdown.

“All staff and students were safe and no one was injured. Unlike social media, no knife was involved.”
