Taylor Swift performs a surprise song in a special nod to Liverpool at Anfield

Taylor Swift performed two surprise songs for her 100th Eras Tour show at Anfield tonight.

The Reputation singer, who played to a record crowd in Liverpool on Thursday June 13, treated fans to I Can See You and Cornelia Street. The American superstar performed a medley of Cornelia Street and Maroon.




Speaking about singing I Can See You, Taylor told the crowd: “The last time I was in Liverpool I was shooting a music video.” The video features actors Joey King and Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner, along with writer and musician Presley Cash, who work together in the video to free Taylor Swift from a vault.

The video features the exterior of the Cunard building on Castle Street, which will soon be home to a new Elif restaurant. I Can See You has already been part of The Eras Tour – as Taylor premiered the video to fans at a show in Kansas City and brought Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash on stage.

Addressing the crowd earlier in the show, Taylor said: “You know, this is actually the 100th show of the Eras Tour! Absolutely, that amazes me.

“It doesn’t feel like a real statistic to me, because this was definitely exhausting, all-consuming, but the most joyous, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life, this tour. That’s what I want. let me tell you and I think a lot of you are like “How are you going to celebrate your 100th show?”
