Live: The A38 is blocked both ways by a multi-vehicle crash in Cornwall

The A38 is closed following a multi-vehicle crash in Cornwall this afternoon (Friday 10 May). There is heavy traffic in both directions near Saltash.


According to traffic monitoring website Inrix, the crash happened between the Callington interchange and the Latchbrook interchange. It was first reported at 5.40pm and delays are now building.



Inrix says: “A38 both ways partially blocked, heavy traffic due to multi-vehicle accident between Callington turn off and Latchbrook stop. Traffic was not helped by an earlier breakdown.”

The latest update from Inrix says: “A38 in both directions partially blocked, heavy traffic due to multi-vehicle accident between Latchbrook stop and Callington turning.

“Four vehicles are involved on the west side.”
