Taylor Swift shares the impression Liverpool made on her in an emotional speech

Taylor Swift took to the stage with a fury for her second night at Anfield tonight for her Eras tour.

The American pop star traveled the world on the record-breaking tour, which grossed over $1 billion, making it the biggest tour of all time. But despite the Reputation singer traveling across five continents until the tour ends in December, Taylor’s energy hasn’t waned and she proved it tonight with a sweet message for her devoted Swiftie fans.

Addressing the crowd of over 55,000, she gave an emotional speech as she said: “Liverpool, welcome to the Eras tournament. You know, it’s the first time I’ve played three shows in Liverpool, so I’ll try as hard as I can to make a good first impression.

It’s the recipe for a successful evening, I I’m so happy to see you here tonight if you’re originally from Liverpool or if you’ve traveled a long way to be here tonight I’m even more happy to see you.

“On this fine Friday evening we are about to have a little adventure together, you and I.”

On Thursday, for the 100th show of the tour, Taylor confirmed for the first time that the epic tour is coming to an end. She said: “People said, ‘How are you going to celebrate your 100th show?’
