Amazon’s small but powerful mini fan is ‘perfect for travel’

Shoppers trying to stay cool praised the Gaiatop Mini Portable Stroller Fan as “perfect for travel.” The Amazon fan has garnered nearly 7,900 reviews, garnering 6,150 five-star ratings so far.

The mini fan is marketed as suitable for attaching to a pushchair or pram, but can be used almost anywhere. It has a baby-safe design with only 5.5mm gaps to protect baby’s fingers from entering the fan.

The fan has a flexible tripod that can be detached when charged. Once charged, depending on the setting selected by the user, it can last up to 10 hours.

Right now the fan is £17.99 instead of the usual price of £22.99. It is available in six colors including black, mint green, yellow and lilac.

One buyer said: “Perfect fan for on the go. It’s a nice little size, but it’s powerful in tall mode. It is durable, has not broken so far (one month of use). I love the all black look.

“It has batteries and it’s also rechargeable, which is nice. There are three speed modes – they work well. The three legs bend to wrap around whatever you need to attach to a stroller, car seat, etc.

“The only thing I would change is to make the legs a little longer, but they still work well as they are. The fan portion also tilts for precise aiming. Pretty quiet. Would recommend, especially for any pregnant women in labor or hospital.”

Another pointed out how it could be used during training: “Wife used it in her spin classes. Good, solid mount that doesn’t move.”

However, some buyers said they were disappointed with how long the legs lasted, one buyer said: “The fan side works great but the legs broke after a few months of use. It would probably work fine if you don’t plan. By moving it around a lot, the metal inside the tire literally came off each leg, I think from the stress of twisting them in different directions.”
