1 dead, 1 injured in Bradford County crash

STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) – A woman is dead and a man is injured after a one-vehicle crash in Bradford County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was driving east on State Road 100 near LM Gaines Boulevard in Starke Saturday morning when it went off the road.

FHP says the truck then veered back onto the road across the lanes before hitting a tree.

The passenger of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver was taken to hospital with injuries.

FHP says the crash is currently under investigation.
