Liam Gallagher at Co-Op Live for Definitely Maybe Anniversary Tour – images

Liam Gallagher has started a series of homecoming shows at Co-op Live.

The Manchester shows are part of Liam’s UK tour marking 30 years since the release of Oasis’ debut album Definitely Maybe. The setlist will include some of Oasis’ biggest anthems such as Live Forever, Slide Away and Supersonic.

Speaking to the MEN earlier this year, Liam is looking forward to performing at Manchester’s newest live venue. He said: “I’m impressed, it looks good. I’m interested in that, man.”

With typical Liam carpentry, he added: “The big gigs are easy – I get more nervous at the little gigs you know.”

Here are pictures from Liam’s first night at the new arena, which is next to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
