The ‘best value’ but little known ‘changer’ Oodie, reduced to its lowest price ever

With the warm weather just around the corner, winter hooded blanket brand Oodie has launched a huge sale, offering up to £50 off some of their best sellers.

But from all their range, which includes not only original fluffy blankets in a wide range of colors and patterns, including collaborations with Pokemon, Disney, Star Wars, Fortnite and more, but has expanded to include Oodies in the open air , Oodies for towels , overalls suits and even flip flopsjust one can be worn year-round – and fans of the brand point to that as why it’s a must-buy.

Narin Flanders, shopping writer and Oodie enthusiast, writing in the Mirror explained why their innovative sleep shirt, which is currently up to £40 off in huge summer sale is an often overlooked essential.

In her review, she explained: “I’m a big fan of my Oodie. Inspired at the start of the cost of living crisis by Martin Lewis’ advice to “heat the person, not the house”, I have I bought a blue plush one to help combat the need to turn on the heating during the day while working from home and despite its premium price I found it worth every penny. It is a permanent fall and winter staple and has been joined by a Mickey Mouse Festive Oodie I picked it up for £29 in the sale to add a bit of Christmas cheer to the gray winter.

“But in terms of cost per wear, I’d say Oodie’s best value product is actually one that a lot of buyers haven’t bought into yet. Their Sleep shirts they’re hugely comfortable and similarly shaped versions of their plush winter staples, but made in a bamboo-cotton blend, which are, quite frankly, game-changing sleepwear.”

As a Disney fan, Narin took one cute blue tie dyed Stitch Sleep Oodie which quickly, she says, became her favorite thing to sleep in. She explains: “The joy of a sleep Oodie it comes from the fact that bamboo fibers allow a kind of temperature regulation that I hadn’t really thought about until now in pajamas.

“I have bamboo training gear, but I never thought that the thermoregulatory properties that keep me cool while exercising make it the perfect fabric for nightwear, helping to keep you cool in the summer but warm in the winter.

“Mine Stitch Sleep Oodie it’s a generous size, but the weight of the fabric hangs really nice and snug, so despite being loose, I don’t end up messing up the bed while I’m sleeping, no matter how much I move around. It’s comfortable, the perfect length to lounge in, and basically the best nightgown I’ve ever owned.

“Bamboo fibers make it perfect for changing the temperature in your bedroom. Previously, I went to bed comfortably because we warmed up lightning before bed, but then we woke up in the freezing night because the temperature dropped and my pii are not warm enough. Bamboo cotton allows your body to adjust as the heat in the room dissipates, meaning I sleep and stay comfortable until morning.”

The shape and size of the nighties will be familiar to anyone who has worn one of the brand’s fleecy versions, although the kangaroo-style pocket is replaced by two generous side pockets.

While its usual RRP is between £79 and £99 depending on the design you choose, Narin recommends picking up a sleep top when it’s reduced to a similar price to other quality pyjamas such as it would be, for example, if you choose one of the discounted ones. TO £24 on sale which goes for a similar purchase price a nightgown at M&S . She added: “It’s definitely worth the splurge, not least because it lasts all year round and, unlike the traditional Oodie, won’t need to be put away in the cupboard come spring when the weather warms up.”

Bamboo nightwear is definitely on trend and there are some premium brands that offer pajamas made of the material. But suddenly full-price nightgowns look more reasonable, with Cozy Earth’s stylish PJs coming in at over £100 a pair.
