Rifle, cartridges and Class A drugs seized in Coventry raid

A TRACK, machetes and Class A drugs were seized when police raided a property in Coventry.

Officers acted on information and carried out the raid at an address in Swan Lane yesterday (Friday, June 14).

The searches by Coventry County Lines and the Serious and Organized Crime and Exploitation teams, along with specialist officers, turned up guns, live shotgun shells and drugs including heroin, crack and cocaine.

Investigations are underway to identify those connected to them.

Police say they work day in and day out to get dangerous guns and drugs off the city’s streets.
