‘Police incident’ outside Kensington Olympia halts Overground and Southern train services

A “police incident” outside Kensington Olympia has caused the London Overground to be suspended between Shepherd’s Bush and Clapham Junction.

Southbound trains between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction are also being disrupted by the incident which will affect the Monday morning rush hour. National Rail Inquiries say emergency services are dealing with an “incident” which has caused the lines to be blocked, with disruption expected until 7.30am.

“No trains can run between Shepherds Bush and Clapham Junction until further notice. This will affect southbound services between Watford Junction and East Croydon, with trains being canceled or stopped briefly.

“Please allow an additional 30 minutes to travel as you will need to use an alternate route. Check journey planners and station screens for the latest information,” it said.

Meanwhile, the District line is suspended between Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway due to a signal fault.

Signaling failure hits trains at Marylebone

Trains from Marylebone and Amersham are currently unable to run due to a signaling fault in the Harrow-on-the-Hill area.

Trains running between Amersham and Aylesbury may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

The fault is affecting Chiltern Railway services.

The outage is expected until 9am.

A police incident is preventing trains from running between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction.

The incident affects the surface between Stratford / Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction

Southbound services between Watford Junction and Clapham Junction / Selhurst / East Croydon are also affected.

Trains are being canceled or stopped short, with passengers being warned to allow an extra 30 minutes for their journey.

The interruption is expected until 7.30.
