Coventry roadworks to watch this week

Motorists are being warned of a series of roadworks that will affect the city’s streets and roads this week. Some of them come into effect today (Monday, June 17).

This includes certain road closures as well as lane closures. There are also a number of traffic lights that you may come across on your travels.




CoventryLive has compiled a list of all the roadworks taking place this week. This is from the latest update from Coventry City Council.

Today (June 17)

  • Foleshill Road – Lane closure for highway repair and maintenance works. On the spot for a day
  • Washbrook Lane – Severn Trent asset works multi-way signals. On the spot for a day

  • Pickford Green Lane – Multi-way signage for new service connection works. Valid until June 19th

  • Hinckley Road – Lane closure for Cadent gas works. Valid until June 19th.

  • Anglesey Close – Road closure for Severn Trent Water works. Valid until June 19th.

  • Ulverscroft Road – Severn Trent Waterworks multi-way signs. Valid until June 26.

  • Loder Close – Road closure for Severn Trent Water works. Valid until June 26.

  • Mayfield Road – Road closed for Severn Trent Water works. Valid until June 26.

June 18

  • Jobs Lane – Two-way signals for Severn Trent in operation. Valid until June 21st.
  • Eversleigh Road – Road closed for Severn Trent water works. Valid until June 26.

June 19

  • Torrington Avenue – Two way signals for BT works. Valid until June 21st.
  • Birmingham Road – Two way signals for BT works. Valid until June 21st.
  • Rectory Lane – Road closure for BT works. Valid until June 21st.
