Met Office forecasts for Birmingham are expected with sunshine and showers in a mixed outlook

Birmingham can expect a mixed outlook today, with sunshine and shows expected. Forecasters said the sunshine will be interrupted by rain today, Monday, June 17.

Maximum temperatures will be 20C in the south West Midlands. However, rain is expected between 1pm and 4pm.




The picture looks more stable from Wednesday 19 June with mostly dry spells. Although this will be cloudy at times.

In a forecast for the West Midlands, the Met Office said: “Today: Light rain is moving south into the northern part of the region. Becoming rainy by midday but mostly dry with plenty of sunny spells in the south. Sensation of warmth in sunlight. Maximum temperature 20C.

“This evening: Any showers during the day ease off in the evening becoming much more severe with clear spells in most parts. Clouds thicken overnight in the north and west at dawn. Stay gentle. Minimum temperature 7C.

“Tuesday: Cloud from the north-west breaks through the morning, bringing sunny spells. Risk of showers in the east of the region, but feeling warm in any sheltered places. Maximum temperature 19C.

“Outlook for Wednesday through Friday: Mostly dry for the rest of the week, although cloudier at times. I feel warm in the sunnier interludes and light wind throughout.”
