Mini heatwave for Liverpool for a week with highs of 25C

After so much cold weather of late, experts are finally predicting a mini heatwave for Liverpool, with highs of 25C.

Things will turn milder this week, with the Met Officer predicting highs of 16C in Liverpool today (Monday) and Tuesday, followed by highs of 17C, 18C and 19C on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively. We can expect it to be “largely dry”, although cloudy at times, and it should be warm in the sun, experts said.




Looking ahead, Accuweather forecasters are predicting a week of warm weather to begin on Sunday, June 23. Its forecast for the day calls for “a mix of sun and clouds” and highs that feel like 21C.

Monday June 24 will then see “a patchy morning shower, otherwise clouds give way to sun” and actual highs of 24C. Tuesday, June 25 will be “warm with part sun”, and highs that feel like 25C, and similar weather is expected on Wednesday, June 26.

Highs of 24C are expected again on Thursday, June 27, albeit with a bit of cloud. Thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon and evening of Friday, June 28, although it should still be as warm as 23C.

And Saturday, June 29, should “remain warm” but with some periods of rain. Highs of 25C are expected in Liverpool. Things are then set to cool, with highs of 18C on Sunday June 30 and mixed weather.
