M6 chaos lives on as lane closures near Coventry cause 40-minute delays

Motorists are being urged to avoid the M6 ​​near Coventry. There is currently a lane closure and the exit slip is partially blocked due to an incident on the M6 ​​Northbound at junction three with the A444 and Bedworth.

According to live online traffic site Inrix, it’s “very slow” and “queuing” on the highway and around the busy island. This is due to what has been described as a leak and a damaged truck on the stretch of highway.




National Highways West Midlands took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to warn drivers of the impact on traffic. They say there are 40 minute delays.
