Man seriously injured after BMW ‘crashes into house’

A man suffered serious injuries after he ‘smashed’ his BMW into a house in Warwickshire. It happened in Dordon on Saturday (June 15).

Police were called to Browns Lane following reports that a BMW had crashed into a house at around 8.30pm. Firefighters from Polesworth and Atherstone also attended.




Paramedics were also called and found the driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, and a second man, believed to be a passenger, to have suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to Coventry University Hospital in Walsgrave.

No one in the house was injured. Engineers were called to assess the damage to the property, Warwickshire Police said.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a car crashing into a house on Browns Lane on Saturday (June 15). Two ambulances and a paramedic went to the scene at 20:26.

“Crews discovered two patients, both men, and they were treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”

A Warwickshire Police spokesman added: “Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage can call 101 quoting incident number 303 of June 15.”
