Man hospitalized after crashing into two light poles

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash in Cornwall this afternoon. At around 12.50pm police were called to reports of a single vehicle crash on the A3083 near Helston.

A vehicle was reported to have crashed into two lampposts near Mawgan. Several emergency services attended as the A3083 was closed in both directions.




A man was treated at the scene by emergency crews but was later taken to Treliske Hospital. The extent of his injuries is not yet known.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called at around 12.50pm today, June 17, to a single car collision on the A3083 in the Mawgan area of ​​Cornwall.

“The car collided with two lampposts. The ambulance also intervened.

“A man was treated at the scene and taken to Treliske Hospital. His condition is not yet known.
