The BMW chase left two police officers injured in the crash

Two police officers were injured following a chase with a BMW. An image released by Warwickshire Police shows the aftermath of the collision.

A police chase ensued in the Dunchurch area of ​​Rugby. As a result, the force said two officers were injured. The pair, who have not been identified, suffered suspected whiplash.



This came after the BMW crashed into their police car after they tried to stop it yesterday morning (June 17). The car did not stop until it crashed into a tree on Alwyn Road.

As a result, a 39-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop. A Warwickshire Police spokesman said he remains in custody to be questioned.
