More travelers get up to park and ride

Several travelers stayed in a car park in Weymouth.

A minimum of eight caravans were parked at Mount Pleasant Park and Ride, off Mercery Road.

A handful of travelers had already set up camp on Sunday and today it appears more have joined them.

Previously, when travelers set up camp on the same site, Dorset Council worked alongside Dorset Police to issue an order to leave.

Both Dorset Council and Dorset Police have been approached for comment.
