Person injured in Blackburn accident

Police closed a road in Blackburn yesterday evening (June 17) after a crash.

Livesey Branch Road, at the junction with Green Lane, was closed for around an hour while police dealt with a crash.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area and plan their route accordingly. The road has since reopened.

Police confirmed a minor injury was reported.

A police spokesman said: “Officers (were) at the scene dealing with a road traffic collision on Livesey Branch Road in Blackburn and have closed the road at the roundabout at the junction with Green Lane. A minor injury (was reported).”
