Kate Middleton is reportedly worried Princess Charlotte doesn’t have ‘a sister to vent to or do things with’

Kate Middleton shares a “close bond” with her only daughter Princess Charlottebut a source revealed she is still worried the youngster doesn’t have “a sister to confide in or do things with”.

You might think that raising children who hold prominent places in the royal line of succession, such as Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, would look a lot different than raising the average child. But it seems Kate Middleton and Prince William share many of the same parenting worries as the rest of us.

Perhaps it’s because Kate takes most of her parenting inspiration from her own non-royal mum and dad, Carole and Michael Middleton, and ignores many of the traditional royal rules that make her approach to parenting feel more identifiable. After all, she grew up in a non-royal household with her brother James Middleton and sister Pippa Middleton, with that normal upbringing now dictating how she wants her own children to experience childhood.

But while she tries her best, there are still worries that creep in from time to time. And one of her major parenting gripes is about Princess Charlotte’s lack of sisters.

A royal insider revealed Closer magazine that Kate is worried that her only daughter feels left out because she doesn’t have a sister to confide in or spend time with, while her two brothers have someone to rely on. However, she tried hard to make up for this by forming a very special relationship with the young man, making time for her despite her heavy workload at the Firm.

“Kate and Charlotte have such a close and lovely relationship, just like Kate and her own mother, Carole,” the source said. “She realizes that Charlotte doesn’t have a sister to confide in or do things with, so she tries to do things. do fun things with it.”

So what do two princesses do for fun? According to the source, they recently went and saw the London Ballet together and also had a “sleepover” in a hotel. “It was just the two of them,” the insider said. “They ordered room service and watched movies together while eating candy.”

The relationship is not only easy for the pair because of the mother-daughter bond, but also because they share the same interests with each other. “Kate sees a lot of herself in Charlotte — they’re both extremely competitive, confident and eager to try new things,” the insider said.

“Charlotte never wants to sit on the sidelines, she always wants to jump right in.”

It’s not just fearless activities that these two love to take part in. They also bond over their mutual love of fashion. The insider revealed: “She (Charlotte) probably likes dressing up more than Kate. He likes to see his mother getting ready for a big event. Kate always shows her sketches before making her special event clothes to try to get her involved in the process.”

In another royal news, How Kate Middleton’s Parenting Style Mirrors Princess Diana’s and the photos speak for themselves, King Charles III ‘knows he doesn’t have many birthdays or Christmases left’ and wants to heal rifts so his estranged grandchildren can “be part of the family” and Prince George, Charlotte and Louis are moving forward with this Christmas tradition (and does not decorate the tree).
