The Met Office is forecasting the weather to become “increasingly warmer” in just a few days

The Met Office said the weather in Britain will become “increasingly warmer” in just a few days. In its latest long-range forecast for next week, the weather service says it’s going to get a lot warmer.

Much of the country is forecast to become “much warmer than we’ve seen in recent weeks” and while next week will start cloudy, warmer weather is on the horizon. The forecast reads: “It is likely to get warmer as we move into next week. There is a chance that this will persist for much of the rest of the period, becoming increasingly warm, however by the middle of next week we see a wide range of outcomes, some of which allow much cooler conditions to return and north wind for the latter part of next week.

“However, the trend towards much warmer conditions is preferred for now.”
