The investigation began after a man died in hospital following a business accident

A man has died following an accident at a business in Swansea. The incident took place at a business located on Gorseinon Road in the Penllergaer area of ​​the city on Wednesday, June 12.

The 53-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after the incident and was taken to hospital where he sadly died. The Health and Safety Executive said it was supporting an investigation led by South Wales Police.

A statement from South Wales Police said: “Officers were called to a commercial building on Gorseinon Road, Penllergaer, shortly after 11am on Wednesday 12 June. A 53-year-old man from Landore was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since died. His family are being supported by specially trained officers.”
