A man has been stabbed in the Narborough Road area of ​​Leicester, police say

A man was stabbed in a residential street in Leicester today (Wednesday 19 June), Leicestershire Police said. Officers were called to the Narborough Road area at 12.28pm after a man was allegedly stabbed on Cambridge Street in the city’s West End.

The force said the man’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.. Narborough Road was closed this afternoon in the direction of the city between Upperton Road and Cambridge Street as a result of the incident. Now it has reopened.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about what happened to contact them on 101, quoting incident 228 of June 19.
