A man has been stabbed in the Narborough Road area of ​​Leicester, police say

A man was stabbed in a residential street in Leicester today (Wednesday 19 June), Leicestershire Police said. Officers were called to the Narborough Road area at 12.28pm after a man was allegedly stabbed on Cambridge Street in the city’s West End.

The force said the man’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.. Narborough Road was closed this afternoon in the direction of the city between Upperton Road and Cambridge Street as a result of the incident. Now it has reopened.
