Arne Slot has given his first interview since being appointed Liverpool’s new head coach.

The former Feyenoord boss was appointed as Jurgen Klopp’s successor last month and officially started in his new role on June 1. However, he has yet to be officially revealed to the media following his appointment.

However, the Dutchman has been spotted on Merseyside, leading supporters to regularly ask when they will hear from the 45-year-old for the first time in recent weeks.

But that wait was almost over after Liverpool teased the release of their first interview with the Reds’ new head coach on Wednesday.

In the 10-second clip, Slot is seen taking a seat in front of the camera as the off-camera voice of LFC TV’s Peter McDowall asks: “Are you ready?” He responds by saying, “Yes, I am.”

In the accompanying social media post, the club confirmed that Slot’s first interview will be published at 4pm.
