Noah Blondin, Alex Roach, Thomas Cooper, Codyn Sloan and Nathan Hartle would each score once for the Celtics, with Caleb Gauthier scoring twice for a 7-1 win for Cornwall. Akwesasne’s Alex Lafrance would get the Storm’s lone goal.

Victory would keep the Celtics sixth in their league, but in a table where three of the teams ahead of them, who also have six points to play, have played fewer than the eight games they have played already Cornwall in season. Cornwall’s record as of Wednesday was 3-5-0 (win-loss-tie).

Akwesasne Storm 2 are at the bottom of the table having played five games so far but are still looking for a win.

The Celtics have two games left in the regular season, hosting the Nepean Knights 2 on Saturday at 12pm at the Benson Centre, then traveling to Kahnawake to play the Mohawks 1 on July 13.
