Sheffield Utd’s Forest in talks to sell Worrall

Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest have opened talks over a move for Joe Worrall.

The defender faces an uncertain future, no longer wanted by the City Ground club.

The defender spent part of last season on loan, leaving for Turkish club Besiktas in February.

However, he failed to make the transfer permanent, as he did not impress enough.

“I signed a new contract extension but obviously my playing time was limited with the new manager coming in and the direction he wanted the club to go,” he said. talkSPORT.

“We’ve played two games under Nuno but we’re well stocked at Forest, there’s a lot of talent and a lot of good players at Forest.

“For me it’s all about fitting in and me sitting there I’m not doing anybody any favors so it’s all about playing games and then we’ll see.”
