Man United tears, slot glory, Everton progress – AI predicts Liverpool’s 2024/25 Premier League season

Liverpool are tipped to break Manchester United’s hearts at Wembley Stadium next season after Artificial Intelligence (AI) attempted to predict the 2024/25 campaign.

The Reds will return to the Premier League without Jurgen Klopp next season after the German manager decided to quit. In his place is Arne Slot, who gave his first interview as head coach on Wednesday night.

Most Liverpool supporters would perhaps be satisfied with a top-four finish in the Slot’s first year, but according to Fair Betting Sites’ AI technology, the Dutchman will go one better and deliver silverware. To make it sweeter for the fan base, it will come at the expense of bitter rivals United.

AI thinks Liverpool and United will meet in the Carabao Cup final next season. With time running out and the scores level at 2-2, the tech believes the Reds will produce a last-minute winner to hand the League Cup slot and ensure the trophy stays on Merseyside.

In terms of Premier League bread and butter, the Reds will finish runners-up to Manchester City, finishing the campaign on 85 points, five behind Pep Guardiola’s side. Arsenal, last season’s opponents, are expected to suffer a major loss, finishing fifth, with Chelsea and United occupying the other Champions League spots.

Meanwhile, Everton are expected to have an exciting season regardless of their position in the table, given that it will be a farewell to Goodison Park. Without the hassle of the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) penalties, the Blues will finish a respectable 12th, eight points better than last season and out of danger of relegation.
