Disruption at Bradford Borough pool after ‘major roof leak’

DISRUPTION has been caused at a Bradford borough swimming pool following a ‘major roof leak’.

Shipley Swimming Pool closed its doors on Tuesday evening and was closed on Wednesday morning due to leakage near the balcony area.

The building was reopened yesterday afternoon following a visit by the facilities management department.

However, the gym changing rooms will be unavailable “until further notice” due to the damage

In the meantime, customers are advised to use the small lockers for personal belongings located in the gym.

The disabled toilets located on the first floor are also closed.

Alternative toilets are available on the ground floor.
