Coventry is rallying to support Keaton’s brave family after a heartbreaking appeal

People in Coventry have rallied to support a family left heartbroken after the tragic death of their young son. Keaton Slater died in a hit and run almost a week ago – and police are still hunting a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The search for Dolars Aleksanders went international yesterday as it was confirmed that police in his native Latvia were looking for him.




Keaton’s family have made a heartbreaking appeal for anyone with information to come forward.

And the Coventry community was quick to support them. Hundreds of comments were left on social media speaking of the family’s courage at a traumatic time.

Emma Wright said: “Absolutely heartbreaking. Sending love to all family and friends.”

Jess Lyons said: “I used to work with this lovely lady. She doesn’t deserve this at all. Nobody deserves it.”
