Salford Red Devils boss Paul Rowley responds to Leeds Rhinos speculation – Total Rugby League

SALFORD RED DEVILS head coach Paul Rowley has responded to speculation linking him with a move to Leeds Rhinos.

Leeds are currently without a manager following the sacking of Rohan Smith yesterday and it is inevitable that current Salford boss Rowley has been linked with the job.

Live on Sky Sports Tonight, Brian Carney asked Rowley about the possibility of taking the Rhinos job, but the Red Devils number one dismissed all those rumours.

“Absolutely not, there was no approach. I think they have a big week ahead with a big occasion tomorrow and I will be getting my team ready for St Helens,” said Rowley.

“There was no contact. It’s a privilege and an honor, I expect nothing. I’m looking forward to training tomorrow.”
