Arne Slot has arrived and Liverpool’s summer recruitment campaign can begin in earnest.

Slot officially took charge of the Reds on Wednesday, with a number of players already linked with a move to Anfield. One of them is Jamal Musiala, who is currently playing for Germany at Euro 2024.




He has scored two goals so far in the tournament, helping his side progress to the last 16. His performances have caught the attention of Liverpool, especially since Musiala rejected a new contract from Bayern Munich in March.

Musiala tip sent

England legend Gary Lineker has hailed Jamal Musiala as Liverpool consider a move for the Bayern star. Musiala is currently focused on helping Germany win Euro 2024 and led the race for the Golden Boot ahead of Thursday’s games.

But his future at club level is up in the air after rejecting a new contract at Bayern Munich. Liverpool are one of the teams monitoring his situation, with the striker thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

Now he got a boost from Lineker. The Match of the Day host told the Rest Is Football podcast: “Musiala you know. I know we know he’s incredibly talented, but boy oh boy is he sharp. Magic.”
