ITV’s Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank has been backed after the ‘impossible’ admission.

Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank was supported for sharing an important message.

The soap star is famous for his role as Billy Mayhew on The Cobbles. Billy is at the center of one of the show’s most powerful storylines as his husband, Paul Foreman, has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

The story is especially poignant for Daniel to be a part of because his grandfather died after suffering from the disease. Daniel is an ambassador for the MND association and took to Instagram to mark Global MND Awareness Day.

He said: “As someone who has lost a family member to MND and now plays a carer in our @coronationstreet story and as an ambassador for @mndassoc, it’s important to highlight the role of carers on Global MND Awareness Day . .

“When you’re supporting someone who has MND, looking after yourself often comes second. It can be impossible to think about eating and sleeping well, let alone keeping fit, taking breaks or going out. As difficult as it can be, there may come a time when you need help – and the MND Association is here for you
