London weather is gearing up for the hottest day of the year so far in a mini heatwave

London is set for its hottest day since 2024 next week.

This summer has not been exactly inspiring, with spells of sunshine interrupted by showers and even a few storms.

But it’s not all doom and gloom, according to BBC Weather, as temperatures will climb to 27C on Tuesday (June 25), with the sun bringing with it a nice and gentle breeze. A perfect walk in the park, right?

Temperatures today will rise steadily and while they will peak on Tuesday, they will slowly fall after that. In fact, from Friday (June 28), the rain will return, with temperatures in the early 20s.
