Secret Glastonbury 2024 rumors settled and surprise performance confirmed

Every year Glastonbury surprises music fans with secret sets and 2024 will be no different.

In previous years the festival has seen huge names including The Killers, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga and The Vaccines arrive at the Somerset farm for a special surprise performance. This year, there are several slots left in the festival schedule for acts to be announced, meaning more secret sets could take place.

Sometimes even secret acts appear in the line-up under different names. In 2023, Churn-Ups appeared on the line-up, but turned out to be Foo Fighters, performing under a fake band name.

When are Glastonbury’s secret sets?

There are eight slots that have yet to be announced. Are:

• Friday 28 June: Wishing Well, 8.45pm and 11pm
• Friday June 28: Firm Rooted, 1:00
• Saturday 29 June: BBC Introducing Stage, 4.30pm
• Saturday 29 June: Woodies Stage, 6pm
• Saturday June 29: Levels, midnight
• Sunday 30 June: BBC Introducing Stage, 7.30pm
• Sunday June 30: Wishing Well, 9 p.m

Who is rumored to be a secret act?

With more slots yet to be announced for this year’s Glasto, including a 6pm performance on Saturday at the Woodies Stage – these are the rumored surprise acts:

• Kasabian
• Liam Gallagher
• Pulp
• Kings of Leon
• green day
• Harry Styles
• murderers
• Weezer
• The XX
• Vampire weekend

According to betting sites, Kasabian and Liam Gallagher are favourites. The Fire hitmakers are just 4/6 to head to Glastonbury after they were heavily rumored to be playing the Somerset site.

Kasabian are also playing a homecoming show at Leicester’s Victoria Park, so a surprise performance at Glastonbury could be the ideal build-up to getting their live show juices flowing again.
