Hull KR reveal attendance figures with a whopping average of over 10,000

Hull KR are often criticized by rival fans for not publishing their attendance figures for every match, instead opting to reveal them as part of their three-month review which has now come.

It has been revealed that the Robins are actually one of the best-supported teams in Super League, with their attendance figures continuing to be incredibly impressive, boosted by the fact that they have recorded sellouts at their home ground in each of their home games this season.

That’s a record that dates back to last year against Salford and is part of the reason the club have managed to make Craven Park such a stronghold, losing just once so far in 2024. That defeat was a narrow 22- -20 to Warrington. Wolves in the fourth round, but since then Hull KR have won eight on the spin at home.

Attendance figures for the last five of those games have now been confirmed following the club’s supporters’ meeting and show that an average of over 10,000 fans attended each game, with that magic figure being surpassed in three of the five fixtures. Attendance figures can be viewed at the bottom of the article.

Hull KR are not far from the best team in Super League but then at home they are a force to be reckoned with. Under Willie Peters, the club lost just four home games, two of them at the hands of Warrington and another against Wigan at the golden point.

In their eight Super League home games this season, KR have won seven while scoring just 30 points per game and conceding an average of 11.5 points. Only St Helens and Catalans have a better defensive record at home, while no team has scored more points at home.

The most recent five home games for which attendance figures have been revealed, excluding last week’s win against Huddersfield Giants, have seen the Robins win by a combined score of 162-40.

It also saw crowds in excess of 10,000 on three occasions, with the club’s biggest attendance of the season even coming against the London Broncos. This was explained by the fact that there was no fan segregation for that game in the North Stand, meaning that tickets were sold to home fans who therefore helped pack in 10,201.

This also eclipses the 10,150 crowd for the Good Friday derby and contributes to an average home attendance of 10,073 over the last five games.
