The wanted man has links to Leicester

A Manchester man wanted by police could be in Leicester. Greater Manchester Police issued an appeal, along with a photo of the distinctive-looking 47-year-old criminal.

There is no mention of the crime he committed – only that he was released from prison and now, for undisclosed reasons, has been recalled to prison to continue serving his prison sentence.

Almost all offenders serve only part of their prison sentence – usually half or two-thirds, depending on the seriousness of the crime. And lifers are usually paroled at some point. All prisoners released on license can then be recalled if they commit further offenses or fail to comply with their release conditions.

“Also has links to #Leicester, Northumbria, West Midlands and South Yorkshire. Any information? Call us on 0161 856 3513 or CrimestoppersUK.”

One commenter on the post wrote: “It won’t be hard to spot then.”
