Terrified 14-year-old boy robbed in park by man in ‘Joker’ mask.

A 14-year-old boy was threatened and robbed by a masked ‘Joker’ in a Runcorn park.

The teenager was in Phoenix Park, off Castlefields Avenue East, at around 8pm on June 11 when he was approached by two other young men, who had their faces covered. He was threatened by the pair, who then stole his red Scott Genius 750 bike, Cheshire Police said.

One of the suspects was described as male, approximately 5ft 10in tall, wearing Montirex or Monterrain clothing and a balaclava with a ‘Joker’ clown face.

The second suspect was described as male, 5ft 4in tall, wearing dark clothing and a t-shirt wrapped around his face.

Detective Constable Nathaniel Walkowiak said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to contact us.

“The same goes for those who may have images that may assist our investigation or have any other information that may assist.
