Pupils at a Bristol school let off steam at their annual play day

Pupils at a Bristol school enjoyed their annual play day.

Beacon Rise Primary School encourages children to explore play and hosts a range of fun and unusual activities for them to get involved with.

Some of the activities include a slide, tubing, paddling pools, water fights and spaghetti fights.

Darren Hicks, the school’s assistant principal, said the playday was about children “being free”.
