Leeds Rhinos players assess Brodie Croft’s role in Rob Burrow’s emotional night

Lachie Miller – 8: Had a tough time but was excellent here. Usually lively around the ball, but there was a top product. His pass to free Alfie Edgell for the Frawley try was superb.

David Fusitu’a – 7: A welcome return to the side for the winger who showed everyone Leeds were missing with some excellent work early in the set to put Leeds on the front foot.

Paul Momirovski – 8: Was poor against Hull FC last week but improved a lot here. Defensively, especially, he was superb. Best game in a Leeds shirt.

Ned McCormack – 7: Leeds have a really promising center on their hands here. Bad footwork, shows real talent.

Alfie Edgell – 7: Another youngster in the side, held his own for the Rhinos here. He paused for the Frawley try.

Brodie Croft – 8: His best moment in a Leeds shirt so far. Two tries on the big stage and he seemed to enjoy every minute. It faded a bit in the second half, but it had already done some damage.

Matt Frawley – 7: The number seven did Rob Burrow proud with a try that saw Headingley break through. He’s been criticized at times, but he was good tonight.

Mikolaj Oledzki – 7: Came up with a few errors early on but his effort was outstanding and he really improved his physicality here.

Jarrod O’Connor – 7: Defensively, he is the leader of his team. Whoever was looking to increase line speed did a great job here over a long period of time. His casting wasn’t always perfect, but he did well overall.

Justin Sangare – 8: Another who had arguably his best game in a Leeds shirt. His first spell was outstanding for the Rhinos. Strong carry offloads, excellent defensive contact.

James McDonnell – 7: Was excellent for most of the game. He loses a mark for the missed tackle on Ipape that resulted in his try. It would have been an 8 otherwise.

Rhyse Martin – 7: The kind of performance we’ve come to expect from the back-rower. Solid, reliable. Can wear Leigh colors next year…

Cameron Smith – 7: The loose forward had a quiet spell but stuck in and played well here. He played big minutes.

Corey Johnson – 5: Had a short spell in the second half and will be disappointed by Edwin Ipape’s defensive miss.

Mickael Goudemand – 6: Kept things tight and ticked when he came off the bench.

Ben Littlewood – N/A: I didn’t come.

Sam Eseh – 7: The Wigan Warriors loanee impressed. Powerful transports and downloads to boot.
