Leicester appointment offers brief respite at West Brom but not the end of Carlos Corberan’s fears

It’s still not a full celebration of retaining the services of head coach Carlos Corberan.

The Spaniard has understandably been heavily linked with the Baggies this summer after a fine 18-month stint in the Black Country and the continued reports have put the Albion faithful on edge.

However, it does not appear that the reports mentioning Corberan in line with the job vacancies have been finalized yet. Leicester showed the staunchest admirers and had the greatest appeal. Graham Potter, Cooper and Corberan have been most strongly linked, although it appeared the Foxes, given their financial concerns despite promotion, would be reluctant to pay Corberan’s release clause to get him out of The Hawthorns, on which is believed to be in the region of £. £3 million – £4 million.
